Yes. This is one for roadies. Come join us on this incredible cycling journey through the southern izu region.

A super smooth, yet hilly route starting on the coast in shimoda. Riders then head to shirahama beach, before heading for the hills and traversing the centre of minami izu. Checkpoint is in matsuzaki, shere again some bergs take you up. The view descending back into downtown matsuzaki is stunning.

 

Following the coast now, the course is constant up and down, with the ishibu rice terrace climb something to behold. The views just get more and more wonderful as the roads turns toward cape irozaki and the return to shimada.

 

The final berg is to the finish line up the driveway of the famous shimoda tokyu hotel where we can celebrate and share our journey. See you there!
